DAY 1

On arrival at NJP / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) - Guest will be received by our executive – Next driver will assist guest for the onward journey of Phuentsholing - Drive through the lush green as well as most beautiful Tea garden in Dooars – On arrival at Phuentsholing (The border of India & Bhutan) – Check into hotel – Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

DAY 2

Early morning breakfast – After obtain permit proceed for Thimpu – On the way visit some waterfalls – Thimpu is a charming city – probably the smallest capital in the world – It is situated in the western central part of Bhutan – It is a lively place, interesting combination of tradition and modernity – Reach Thimpu – Check into your hotel on arrival – Overnight stay in Thimpu.

DAY 3

Early morning breakfast – Visit to the National Memorial Chorten built in honour of our late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuk and the Dupthop Lhakhang – One can visit the National Library, stocked with ancient Buddhist manuscripts, and the Painting School where traditional art is still kept alive through instructions in the art of painting Thangkas – After lunch visit  Traditional Medicine Institute and to Lungtenzampa – Visit to the Tashichho Dzong, seat of the national government and the Central Monastic Body, including the summer residence of the Je Khenpo -  The Tashichho Dzong is open to visitors only in winter when the Je Khenpo and the monks move to Punakha the ancient winter capital of Bhutan -  Drive to Simtokha Dzong and visit the Handicrafts emporium – Transfer to Paro – Overnight stay in Paro.

 

DAY 4

Morning after breakfast hike to visit Taktsang (Tiger's Nest) – be amazed by the view of this sacred temple hanging on the rocky cliff and take in the beauty of Paro valley – After that, move to the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong – built to commemorate Bhutan’s victory over the Tibetan invaders – If in good weather, you'll see a great distant view of Mt. Chomolhari – Overnight stay in Paro.

Morning after breakfast start today's sightseeing with Paro Dzong, perhaps the finest example of Bhutanese architecture as well as a local religious administrative centre – Later visit Ta Dzong, an ancient watchtower housing the National Museum, with abundant culture relics – Next go to Kyichu Lhakhang – one of the oldest temples in Bhutan and ends at a local farm house, where you can chat with local people, see how they live and may taste some homemade wine – Overnight stay in Paro.

 

DAY 5

After breakfast drive to Phuentsholing – On the way visit Kharbandi Goemba monastery - It houses the large and attractive statues of Sakyamuni, Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal and Guru Rinpoche – Reach to Phuentsholing – Evening free to local shopping area of Phuentsholing – Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

DAY 6

Early morning breakfast or breakfast on the route – Check out of the hotel and start for NJP / Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey with happy memories to cherish.

  • Entry Permit/Pass for Bhutan

    Indian nationals do not require any visa for Bhutan. A permit will be issued at the entry point on production of a passport or Voter ID and 04 passport size photographs.

    Entry Permit/Pass processing

    • There is a simple, one-page Form that Indians need to fill and submit with a copy of Passport / Voter ID & 1 passport sized photo.
    • Wait in a queue until your name is called, the Immigration officer will fill in your details in his computer records, have your fingerprints scanned and give you a printout of the Bhutan Entry Permit/Pass.
    • Take this printout of the Bhutan Entry Permit/Pass to an adjoining room to get it verified and signed by a senior official there.
    • Once verified and signed, you have your Bhutan Entry Permit/Pass ready for your Bhutan trip.
    • Your passport must be valid more than 6 months at the time of travel in Bhutan.
    • Permit cannot be issued during Govt. holidays & weekends. So please plan your tour accordingly.

    Permit for Dochula pass / Punakha / Wangdue

    It is required for those travelling beyond Dochula pass, in central and western Bhutan and this Permit is also required to visit Punakha / Wangdue. The Permit can only processed & issued after arrival in Thimphu by the Home Ministry of Bhutan and on producing Entry Permit which travellers obtain on arrival. No charge will be applicable for this permit. Please bring 04 passport size photographs and Voter ID card or Passport of each person (For child required School/College ID and Passport or Birth Certificate) required while processing Permit. Permits are not issued on Saturday, Sunday & Govt. Holidays and applications are accepted from 9 - 11 a.m. and permit granted on same day from 3 - 5 p.m. in summer and 3 - 4 p.m. in winter.

    Child Policy:

    • Age proof for below 5 years children is must.
    • Above 5 years denote as an adult. 

    Terms & Condition:

    • For Late Arrival / Unscheduled Extensions please must be reported in advance for necessary arrangement and action.
    • Strikes, Natural Calamity, Landslide – we are not responsible for those things. We try to advise our guest to take no risk and reschedule the Itinerary if we sense any such intention. In such cases guest have to stay in the nearest resort / hotel or lodges. Arrangement will be made by us but the extra cost in actual has to be paid by the guest.
    • If by landslide, heavy rain or any other natural calamity car will go by different route, guest will be bare extra money for long route.
    • Booking to be confirmed only after getting 50% of the total package cost.
    • Payment made by cash/fund transfer at the time of booking & Rest of the payment to be cleared before starting the tour.
    • Booking amount will not be refundable for cancellation.
    • In case the client requiring any changes in the pre-booked service, such changes would be considered as new service. The cost for the new service is payable separately and adjustment with the cost of original service is not admissible. Such extension or alteration of the original service is subject to both HVH and the guests agreeing on the same. In case of any disagreement HVH commitment is limited to the service already booked.
    • If any tour cancelled because of unfavourable climatic conditions, strike, train cancellation or any other circumstances, in that case booking amount will be forfeited.
    • These will be no refund for any unforeseen calamities which may occur during the tour.
    • The Management/Agency/Authority/we will not undertake liability towards any damage or loss of life or any property of the tourist due to an accident, theft, robbery, any illegal or immoral activity, any penalty by caused of activities against civic rule, natural calamities during the tour.
    • Guests are requested to carry 4 Xerox copy of any Photo ID proof (Except Pan Card) i.e. Passport / Driving License / Voter ID along with 4 copy P.P. photos.
    • Children / Students are requested to carry Original & 4 Xerox copy of school or College Photo Identity card along with 4 copy P.P. photo. Also carry the original birth certificate.
    • For Infants carry 4 passport size photographs.
    • Additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle, other than mentioned in the itinerary, will need extra cost and directly payable on the spot.
    • Vehicle should be providing as category wise not model wise.
    • Bhutan entry Permit is subject of availability.
    • If any part of Bhutan the Indian vehicle not to be enter due to restricted zone that time if you will require any Bhutan vehicle, that extra cost will not to be including in package.
    • Debit Cards/Cheques are not accepted in Bhutan. Credit cards are accepted in selected establishments in Bhutan. So please carry sufficient cash. Indian currency will work (except 500 & 1000 rupee notes).
    • Tobacco & Tobacco products are banned in Bhutan. Do not bring any plant or agricultural product out of Bhutan. It is Illegal.
    • Vehicle should be providing as category wise not model wise.
    • All vehicle rates are subject to change for the increasing of fuel cost.
